Presentation: "Colostrum and Evaluating Quality"

Dr. Chris Clark is an associate professor in the Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM). He graduated from Cambridge University in Cambridge, England, and then eventually came to the WCVM for a one-year internship.

After practising as a rural veterinarian in the United Kingdom for one year, he returned to the WCVM to complete a residency in large animal internal medicine as well as master’s and PhD degrees in clinical pharmacology. Dr. Clark has received numerous teaching awards, including the University of Saskatchewan’s Master Teacher Award in 2016. He has also served as the WCVM’s associate dean academic since 2015. His greatest interests are veterinary education – and cows’ feet.

He and several vet students will conduct an on-farm "disease investigation" that goes through the problem-solving steps that animal health teams take to investigate disease in a herd.
